Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a professional registered nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 2 role. The incumbent will provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

The position requires a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current state RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years in nephrology nursing.

Qualifications

• RN CAP 2 position within the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) for new employees meeting RN CAP 2 criteria or advanced from RN CAP 1.
• Minimum 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer hemodialysis therapy and medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients and families; participate in quality improvement activities and facility operations.
