Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in Durham, NC is seeking a part-time New Patient Coordinator to support the Orthodontic department. You will accompany the Orthodontist to new patient consultations, welcome patients, explain treatment options, and coordinate care across two offices in Durham and Miami.

The role requires 1–2 years of dental experience, NC X-ray certification, and the ability to lift 15–20 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of dental experience is required.
• Orthodontic experience is preferred.
• NC X-Ray Certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to 15–20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new patient consultations including office tours, treatment and financial overview, taking initial records (photos, X-rays, etc.).
• Schedule bonding and recall appointments; send patient and doctor correspondence.
• Prepare and present bonding contracts; review financial agreements and collect payments; post payments and set up auto-drafts.
• Maintain and manage patient reports and appointment confirmations; schedule ongoing maintenance and follow-up appointments.
• Monitor and respond to office emails; support other administrative and clinical tasks as needed.
