Job summary

LensCrafters in Washington state seeks a part-time Optometric Technician to support doctors and deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will help with patient preparation, testing, and accurate data entry to ensure smooth exams and excellent care.

You’ll greet patients, manage scheduling, assist with eye exams, handle records with HIPAA care, and coordinate with retail teams to balance patient needs and store operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in retail, optical, or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and manage phone calls.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information accurately.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and privacy.
• Input data into CIAO system and track fees and scheduling.
• Support retail operations as patient demand allows.
• Keep exam lanes and contact lens areas organized and clean.
