Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Part-Time Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist the optometrist with eye examinations, obtain medical history, and prepare patients to ensure a smooth exam flow linking the doctor with retail functions.

You will review prescriptions, maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance, and support retail operations as patient demand allows.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Leadership, communication, problem solving, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and display a professional image.
• Assist the optometrist with eye examinations and history taking.
• Prepare patients for examinations and obtain medical history.
