LensCrafters is hiring an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by supporting eye examinations, preparing patients, and ensuring accurate data handling. You will help the optometrist, greet patients warmly, and maintain a pristine, compliant exam environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Display a professional image, greet patients promptly with a smile
• Promptly answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner
• Assist the optometrist by obtaining medical history and preparing patients for examinations
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; consult when necessary
• Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and explain measurements to the patient
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and input data
• Maintain inventory of supplies and keep exam areas tidy
