Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Part-Time Optometric Technician to join our team. This role focuses on delivering the LensCrafters Experience, assisting the optometrist, managing patient flow, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records in a fast-paced optical store environment.

The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision while supporting both clinical and retail functions.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).

Responsibilities

• Display a professional image, greet patients promptly with a smile.
• Promptly answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist in eye examinations and prepare patients, including gathering medical history.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and special needs; consult when necessary.
• Support retention and scheduling activities and use the CIAO system for data entry and billing.
