The role covers opening, closing, training, and task delegation while promoting safety and ethical conduct. The OL will partner with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing, manage freight and inventory, supervise tasks, and drive customer experience.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times. The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior.

Responsibilities

• The OL performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution and operational readiness.
• Coordinates directly with the Assistant Store Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience.
• Participates in Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to deliver on goals.
• Supports the store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention expense control.
• Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
• Leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and train topics that support the customer experience.
• Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions.
• Processes freight, sorts and stocks products on shelves, maintaining a neat, clean, and organized store.
• Open Availability (nights and weekends).
