Job summary

At Home Group Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN seeks an Operations Lead (PT) to support store processes and a selling culture, ensuring compliance with company standards.

The role covers opening, closing, training, and task delegation while promoting safety and ethical conduct within a warehouse-style store. The OL will coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to optimize staffing, meet labor standards, and drive sales, guest engagement, and overall store performance.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise communication in verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise in a warehouse-format store.
• Demonstrates reliability and ethical conduct while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store operations and Front-End processes with accuracy.
• Coordinate staffing with the Assistant Store Manager to meet traffic, sales and customer experience goals.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly zone workload and delegate tasks to achieve store objectives.
• Support inventory control, safety, loss prevention and customer experience to drive profitability.
• Lead through training, coaching, and performance appraisal of team members.
• Communicate and train through daily interactions and team huddles.
• Handle freight processing, stocking, and end cap maintenance to keep the store neat and organized.
• Open availability for nights and weekends.
