Job summary

CircusTrix dba Defy Team Lead is a part-time onsite role in Charlotte, rotating through Sales & Service, Parties & Events, and Food & Beverage/Facilities. You’ll jump in as Manager on Duty when senior leaders aren’t on-site to keep the park running smoothly and set the tone for the team.

You lead from the floor, coach teammates, and ensure guest experiences meet our standards with a focus on safety and operations. Availability includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in operations or guest-facing roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Background in retail sales, food & beverage, amusement/entertainment, or recreation strongly preferred.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including POS systems and tools like Microsoft Office Suite and Teams; comfortable learning new platforms as needed.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when the park is most alive.
• Reliable, self-motivated, organized, and eager to grow into higher levels of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty when GM/OM are not present, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and team accountability.
• Lead from the floor and coach team members to deliver service excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Drive membership and program sales by engaging guests and promoting park offerings.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure shift procedures are executed with consistency.
• Oversee rotation through Sales & Service, Parties & Events, and Food & Beverage/Facilities.
