Job summary

Defy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Part-time Team Lead to help run the park across Sales & Service, Parties & Events, and F&B/Facilities. You’ll lead on the floor as MOD, coach teammates, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires at least 2 years in operations or guest-facing roles, strong communication, and the ability to lift 20 pounds and work evenings/weekends. Real leadership potential welcomed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in operations or guest-facing roles.
• At least 18 years old.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to move throughout the park and lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) and lead operations across departments.
• Drive membership and program sales while delivering WOW service.
• Lead guest interactions and coach team members for consistency.
• Oversee Parties & Events, Café, Front Desk, and other shift areas.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance throughout the shift.
