Job summary

Encore Global in Orlando seeks a part-time Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and handle on-site guest interactions.

The role requires 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience, 1 year of AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet training and certification requirements within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days; see career path link.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Customer Service: exceed expectations, maintain client relationships, meet with guests on site, monitor events and assist as needed.
• Technical Ability: understand technical aspects and troubleshoot equipment/software issues in a timely manner.
• Systems Knowledge: complete paperwork accurately, manage equipment sheets, interact with staff/vendors, up-sell, and process invoices.
