Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 1 year of hospitality front desk or guest services experience preferred.
• Must be available on weekends and overnight shifts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with computers; experience with reservation and accounting software desired.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests, check in/out, and provide keys and room numbers.
• Take bookings via phone, online, or in person, and answer questions on rates, rooms, and amenities.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.
• Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of guest accounts.
• Handle customer complaints as needed.
• Verify, audit, and reconcile financial records and prepare final bills.
• Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting tasks as requested.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.
• Ensure guests have an exceptional experience at the property.
• Perform front desk duties as needed, including reservations and inquiries.

Our property is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a night auditor who loves working with people, possesses a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and has bookkeeping experience! Compensation:

$15 - $15.75 hourly

Qualifications

• Must be Available on Weekends
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
• Must have graduated from high school, received a GED, or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
• Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required
• Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired
• Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours

Responsibilities

• Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide the correct keys and room numbers
• Take incoming calls, online and in-person room booking requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
• Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
• Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
• Handle customer complaints as necessary
• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records, such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages
• Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the general manager, department heads, and hotel management
• Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property
• Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
