La Quinta Inn & Suites Albuquerque West is seeking a night auditor to join our hospitality team in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to financial details and a genuine love of interacting with people, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Overnight shifts are required, and prior hotel experience is not mandatory but guest service experience is highly preferred. Individual should be computer proficient; some familiarity with accounting or reservation software

Qualifications

• Able to work overnight shifts.
• Great communications and excellent customer service skills are required.
• Front desk duties, guest services, night auditor or hospitality experience preferred.
• Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
• Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries, process reservations, and check-ins alongside other front desk tasks as required.
• Close the business day and start new.
• Ensure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay.
• Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages.
• Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the general manager and hotel management.
• Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested.
• Respond to inquiries, process reservations and check-ins, delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, resolve guest complaints, and other front office duties as required.
