Job summary

Greystar Towson, MD seeks a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, respond to resident requests, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, and maintain property grounds and amenities to safety standards.

You will document work, manage inventory, and support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible. EPA refrigerant certifications are required or applicable.

Qualifications

• Essential Responsibilities: Diagnoses defects or problems and performs repairs on property components according to policies and safety standards.
• Make-ready process: prepares vacant apartments for leasing, completes inspections, schedules vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Inventory and materials: tracks usage, returns unused items, and notifies for re-ordering.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready vacant units and conducts pre-move-out inspections.
• Accesses materials from maintenance department and tracks inventory.
