Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support on-site maintenance at our California properties. You will perform routine and preventive tasks, assist with make-ready, and keep common areas clean and safe for residents.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, basic computer skills, and familiarity with OSHA standards. Regular on-site attendance and on-call availability are required to meet property needs.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service skills to interact with residents.
• Baseline computer skills for property software and work orders.
• Understanding of safety practices and OSHA guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks on community property.
• Assist in make-ready processes for vacated units and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds, breezeways, and interiors.
• Respond to resident requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Work under Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager guidance.
• Participate in on-call emergencies as needed.
