Job summary

Johnny Was in California is seeking a Luxury Stylist to deliver an elevated, personalized client experience while driving sales and reinforcing the Johnny Was aesthetic. The ideal candidate will build lasting client relationships, manage styling sessions, and contribute to a premium in-store environment.

You will engage with clients through proactive outreach, possess strong product knowledge, and support store operations in a fast-paced boutique setting, including events and trunk shows.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of luxury, contemporary, or premium retail sales experience preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and performance metrics.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an elevated, personalized client experience aligned with the Johnny Was aesthetic.
• Build authentic, long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and outreach.
• Maintain an active client book with follow-up and appointment selling.
• Demonstrate deep product knowledge including fabrication, fit, craftsmanship, and seasonal storytelling.
• Drive omnichannel sales by leveraging in-store, online, and client outreach opportunities.
• Assist with shipment processing, stock replenishment, and inventory management.
