Burlington Stores in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a part-time Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment while deterring theft.

You will stand at store entrances, greet customers, learn shortage reduction programs, and report suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty; prior experience in retail or asset protection is preferred. This role offers a competitive hourly wage, associate discount, and eligibility for benefits for part-time staff.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required
• Ability to review, analyze and comprehend business trends
• Ability to exhibit a positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers
• Excellent leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships

Responsabilidades

• Monitor entrance and high‑risk areas to deter theft and ensure safety
• Greet every customer with a warm, confident, energetic greeting
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs and processes
• Maintain professional appearance and dress standards
