Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time dispatcher for Bend, Oregon to coordinate linehaul dispatch and support quality, service, and administrative functions in the pickup and delivery area. You will monitor metrics, liaise with BC/AOs, and handle load plan changes in Vision/VRP systems to ensure on-time performance.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience with dock operations or administrative support, and knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred.
• Administrative support, customer service or dock operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and linehaul operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility reporting metrics related to service, safety, cost and quality daily.
• Communicate with IC/ISP BC/AOs regarding load plan changes and update Vision/VRP systems.
• Investigate customer service complaints and coordinate resolution with customers.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate management.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment records and ensure DOT compliance.
• Dispatch linehaul equipment and enter dispatch events accurately in the system.
