Job summary

The Hornets Sports & Entertainment Ticket Office is seeking a Part-Time Ticket Office Ambassador to deliver spectacular service to Spectrum Center guests. You will process ticket sales, distribute will-call tickets, and answer questions about events, seating, and arena policies.

Candidates should hold a High School diploma, be 18+, pass a background check, and be ready to work days, nights, weekends, and possibly holidays. This is a part-time, non-benefit earning position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and interest to work in events and/or sport management.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Part-time, non-benefit earning; hours include days, nights, weekends and possibly holidays.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and bend as required.
• Lift up to 50lbs or push up to 70lbs unassisted.
• Customer service skills strongly desired.
• Availability to work a minimum of 40% of monthly Spectrum Center events.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service to all Spectrum Center guests.
• Process single ticket sales and distribute will call tickets for events.
• Answer questions regarding ticket availability, prices, present and future events, seating configurations, and arena policies.
• Provide fans with information, education and troubleshooting for all mobile ticketing questions.
• Verify/Scan tickets for authenticity and proper date, time, and event.
• Work to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all ticket sales and reconciliation.
• Keep a strong understanding of all areas of Spectrum Center
• Other duties as assigned.
