Job summary

Levy at American Airlines Center in Dallas is seeking a passionate, skilled, and detail-oriented event-based part-time Action Station Cook to bring excitement and flair to our Chef Tables and Buffet experiences for our dynamic Culinary teams. This guest-facing role will prepare and serve made-to-order dishes at live action stations, engaging with guests, and delivering an exceptional culinary experience.

Ideal candidates thrive in high-energy environments and bring strong cooking skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of cooking experience in a high-volume setting (stadium/arena/event venue a plus).
• Valid ServSafe certification or state-approved Food Handler certification.
• Knowledge of grilling, sautéing, frying, and roasting; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, made-to-order items at live buffet action stations.
• Provide friendly, professional interaction with guests while cooking and serving.
• Ensure consistent portioning, presentation, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow all food safety protocols.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking of action stations.
• Communicate with FOH staff and culinary leadership to ensure smooth service flow.
