Twenty-Nine Palms Enterprises in Coachella, CA is seeking a Part Time Cook/Kitchen Assistant to prepare and season sauces, meats, vegetables, and other food items using standardized recipes. You will serve prepared food, maintain a clean workstation, and support a Five Star guest experience.

The role requires at least two years of institutional food prep experience, knife skills, and the ability to follow institutional recipes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Two years' experience in institutional food preparation including progressive broiler, sauté and frying skills.
• Must pass periodic random drug screens.
• Must pass background suitability investigation.
• Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
• Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
• Deliver our Five Star Experience to Guests and Team Members by embodying our Mission Statement and Service Promise while adhering to department service standards.
• Prepare raw products or prepared food items.
• Serve prepared food items.
• Clean and sanitize workstation.
• Coordinate guest’s checks to provide fast and efficient service.
• Able to work hot line and/or buffet preparation stations.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health and safety standards.
