Job summary

The Twenty Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is seeking a dependable line cook to prepare a variety of dishes in a fast-paced dining environment. You will work from standardized recipes, maintain a clean workstation, and ensure delicious meals are plate-ready for guests on time.

Responsibilities include line cooking, station preparation, food safety compliance, and assisting with buffet and service flow while upholding the Five Star Experience standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Two years’ experience in institutional food preparation including broiler, sauté and frying skills.
• Must pass random drug screens and background suitability investigation; Tribal Gaming License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw products or prepared food items following standardized recipes.
• Serve prepared food items and coordinate guest checks for fast, accurate service.
• Keep workstation clean and sanitized; rotate stock and label items.
• Work hot line and/or buffet stations as needed and assist with general cleaning duties.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and ensure compliance with tribal and internal controls.
