Solairus Aviation in California is seeking a capable IT Specialist for a transitional part-time role supporting a managed IT environment. You will handle daily IT requests, ticketing via Zendesk, and on-site hardware issues, with emphasis on security and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in IT support, strong communication, and the ability to work independently on a rotating on-call schedule, including after-hours.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT support experience in a managed environment.
• Experience with Zendesk or equivalent ticketing systems and documented processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts (incident, request, change, knowledge).
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and basic networking.
• Proficient with Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10/11, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support and resolve tickets via Zendesk.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software on laptops, desktops, and peripherals onsite and remotely.
• Support iOS and Android devices with MDM policies.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding and access changes.
• Collaborate on system upgrades and technology rollouts.
