Job summary

CloudCover is seeking a Part-Time Support Technician for a 6‑month, on‑site assignment in Culver City, CA. The role runs every Tuesday and Thursday, 8–10 hours per day, starting at 8 AM, with potential extensions. Supports about 70 users and requires a dependable, self‑managed IT person who can be the office’s go‑to tech.

The role focuses on hands‑on end‑user support, desktop issues, conference room tech, and basic IT administration. No sponsorships available.

Qualifications

Hands-on IT/desktop support in an office environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Trustworthy handling company equipment and user access.
Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels.
Experience with Windows/PC environments.
Experience with Zoom Rooms or conference room technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

End-User & Desktop Support: Provide hands‑on IT support to Culver City employees; troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity; respond to IT questions; assist with laptop setup and provisioning; support virtual desktops; basic peripheral troubleshooting.
Office & Conference Room Support: Maintain Zoom Rooms and conference room tech; ensure equipment is operational for meetings; troubleshoot audio/video/display issues.
User Administration & IT Operations: Assist onboarding/offboarding; setup accounts and equipment; coordinate device deployment; escalate issues with remote IT leadership or third parties; maintain on-site presence and identify recurring issues.
