Job summary

Penn State Great Valley’s Information Technology Support (ITS) Help Desk department is seeking part-time User Support Specialists who are resourceful, good problem solvers, fast learners, and enjoy helping staff, faculty, students, and external clients. Hours are 10-24 per week, Monday through Thursday, with some Saturdays, on-site at the Great Valley Campus in Malvern, PA.

Our Help Desk team provides computer support via phone, in person, and email, assisting with questions from resetting

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about computer and AV technologies.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in PC and MAC environments is a plus.
• Able to work 10–24 hours per week, Mon–Thu (evenings) and some Saturdays.
• On-site at the Great Valley Campus in Malvern, PA.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions by phone and assist walk-ins in person.
• Support AV needs for conferencing events.
• Receive on-the-job training and professional development.
