The Pennsylvania State University Great Valley campus in Malvern, PA is seeking part-time User Support Specialists for its ITS Help Desk. You will assist staff, faculty, students, and external clients with computer and AV technology, both remotely and on-site as needed.

Responsibilities include answering questions over the phone, assisting walk-ins, troubleshooting hardware and software, and supporting classroom technology and conferencing events.

These openings do offer some flexibility with hours and work schedules. Questions about hours and schedules should be directed to the hiring manager.Part-time Help Desk Specialists will have the opportunity to perform classroom technology support, troubleshoot hardware and workstation problems, learn and test new applications and AV systems, and are exposed to many of the different technologies at Penn State University.As a Help Desk Specialist, you will have the opportunity to learn and perform a variety of tasks, including answering questions over the phone and helping walk-in's that visit the Help Desk in-person with all their computer needs, in addition to supporting AV for some conferencing events.
