Job summary

Penn State Great Valley's Information Technology Support (ITS) Help Desk is seeking part-time User Support Specialists who are resourceful, good problem solvers, fast learners, and enjoy helping staff, faculty, students, and external clients. On-site at the Great Valley Campus in Malvern, PA, these roles offer 10-24 hours per week with some evening/weekend flexibility.

You will support classroom technology, troubleshoot hardware and AV systems, answer questions by phone or in person, and help

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about working on and learning about computer and AV technologies.
• Experience working in various technical environments.
• The ability to work 10-24 hours a week, Monday through Thursday (evenings preferred) and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions over the phone and assist walk-ins at the Help Desk in person.
• Support AV for conferencing events.
• Troubleshoot hardware and workstation problems.
• Learn and test new applications and AV systems.
