Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking an Ice Cream Specialist for part-time shifts in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience, making hand-dipped cones, shakes, and sundaes, and assisting with food service items for Guests.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, operating the POS system and gas console, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store security and cleanliness. Must be able to lift items and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate POS terminal, gas console and other store equipment.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps, recognize denominations and accurately make change.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure they leave satisfied.
• Prepare DipSide items: shakes, cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Efficiently operate the Point of Sale system and gas console; accurately register transactions and handle payments.
• Stock shelves, maintain displays and ensure dip cabinet and freezers are well stocked and presentable.
• Maintain store security and follow cash drop procedures and loss-prevention practices.
• Ensure cleanliness, proper temperature control of equipment, and safe operation of all store tools.
