Qualifications

• Previous HR and payroll experience required.
• Healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, timekeeping, and employee records.
• Familiarity with California employment laws preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accurate employee payroll information.
• Review timecards, attendance records, schedules, and payroll adjustments.
• Assist with payroll processing and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Maintain confidential employee personnel files.
• Assist with onboarding, orientations, and employment paperwork.
• Coordinate hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Verify employment eligibility and required documents.
• Track licenses, certifications, and credentials.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and questions.
• Maintain attendance and leave records.
• Support employee relations and respond to HR questions.
• Assist with performance documentation and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and facility rules.
• Prepare HR and payroll reports as needed.
• Assist with audits and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
• Provide general admin support to HR.
