McClure Post Acute is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable HR/Payroll Coordinator to support our facility's human resources and payroll operations.
This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about supporting employees while ensuring accurate and timely payroll and personnel processes.

Position Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate employee payroll information
- Review timecards, attendance records, schedules, and payroll adjustments
- Assist with payroll processing and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files
- Assist with new-hire onboarding, orientations, and employment paperwork
- Coordinate employee hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations
- Verify employment eligibility and required documentation
- Track employee licenses, certifications, and required credentials
- Assist with benefits enrollment and employee benefit questions
- Maintain employee attendance and leave records
- Support employee relations and respond to routine HR questions
- Assist with performance documentation and disciplinary processes
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable federal, state, and facility requirements
- Prepare HR and payroll reports as needed
- Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory documentation
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and payroll information
- Provide general administrative support to the facility's HR department
Qualifications
- Previous HR and payroll experience required
- Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Knowledge of payroll processing, timekeeping, and employee records
- Familiarity with California employment laws and regulations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll software
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
