Job summary

Tractor Vision is seeking an organized HR Generalist & Administrator to run day-to-day HR operations in Los Angeles. This hands-on role covers records, payroll support, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, workers’ compensation, and employee relations, working with the CSO and HR Consultant.

You will maintain compliant records for California and LA requirements, support managers with performance conversations, and help implement automation to scale the HR function as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years in HR, HR administration, payroll, or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of California employment practices and compliance.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding, payroll, benefits, and records.
• Comfort documenting employee concerns and confidential matters.
• Experience supporting managers with performance and compensation discussions.
• Experience with hourly workforces preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, confidential employee records and CA/LA compliance.
• Serve as HR resource for employees and managers on relations and issues.
• Support payroll and employee administration, changes, letters, and docs.
• Own onboarding and offboarding lifecycle from offer to departure.
• Administer benefits and 401(k) processes and communications.
• Handle workers’ comp, leaves, accommodations, and return-to-work.
• Support compensation discussions and performance management.
• Improve HR systems and automation to scale the function.
