Job summary

Humanity HR Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist in the Los Angeles area to own the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to benefits and payroll processing. This hybrid role requires on-site support 2-3 days a week and travel between locations as needed for key administrative processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR and payroll experience, strong knowledge of California and New York employment laws, and proficiency with Paylocity and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR and payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of California and New York employment laws.
• Experience with payroll software (Paylocity) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of employee administration from onboarding to benefits.
• Process bi-weekly payroll in Paylocity with accuracy.
• Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with leave administration (CFRA, disability).
• Respond to policy and payroll inquiries from employees.
• Coordinate annual performance reviews and recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate with leadership and external counsel as needed.
