Job summary

Kitchen Magic, Inc. is seeking an HR Assistant to support the full employee lifecycle with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement. You will be the main contact for candidates and staff, ensuring a positive, confidential experience and partnering with the HR Manager for compliance and efficiency.

This part-time role focuses on day-to-day HR coverage, with approximately 25 hours per week, and offers exposure to a broad range of HR tasks and programs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1+ year HR, recruiting, or admin support experience; 2 years preferred.
• Certifications: aPHR or SHRM-CP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment: post positions, source candidates, screen resumes, schedule interviews, be main candidate contact.
• Prepare offer letters and complete pre-employment steps including background checks and drug screenings.
• Manage onboarding: I-9, paperwork, BambooHR setup, orientation.
• Administer benefits enrollment and respond to benefits questions.
