Job summary

GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY seeks a part-time Hotel Hospitality Team Member to ensure guest rooms at the on-campus hotel and Cypress dorm meet standard cleanliness and service levels. Responsibilities include housekeeping, laundry, front-desk coordination, and public area duties at both locations.

The role requires flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, with prior hospitality or customer-service experience preferred. Local Phoenix area students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree program enrollment in Hospitality preferred.
• Minimum one year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning of guestrooms, storage areas, and laundry areas.
• Obtain vacancy, arrival, and departure reports and follow as needed.
• Check for non-operational items and report repairs to Operations Manager.
• Replenish supplies and amenities in guestrooms.
• Transport trash to disposal area.
• Assist with linen and supply inventory and laundry tasks as requested.
• Follow lost and found procedures and keep areas orderly.
• Greet guests and respond to concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Front Desk to update room status and reservations.
