Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking dependable night shift custodians to join our team on the AZ Phoenix campus. You will perform floor care, general cleaning, and routine maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe environment for students and staff.

This full-time role requires physical stamina, attentiveness to safety, and the ability to work with others in a fast-paced setting. Starting pay is $16.30 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, PTO, personal time, holidays,

Qualifications

• Ability to understand English and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to fill out reports/log daily tasks.
• Knowledge of janitorial products and green cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors using mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing and polishing techniques.
• Perform routine cleaning of restrooms, offices and classrooms.
• Complete daily work logs and activity reports.
• Assist with training of new team members on floor care procedures.
• Follow safety, health and chemical handling procedures.
