Qualifications

• Local students in Phoenix area year-round preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality Bachelor’s program at GCU preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays if needed.
• At least 1 year in customer service or hospitality.
• Maintain professional appearance and dress.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Promote positive communication with coworkers and guests.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain room cleanliness.
• Learn and follow safety, emergency and accident procedures.
• Fluent in English, read and write.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily deep cleaning of guestrooms, storage and laundry areas.
• Obtains vacancy, arrivals and departures reports and special requests.
• Reports non-operational items to Operations Manager.
• Replenishes supplies and amenities in guestrooms.
• Transports trash to disposal area.
• Assists with linen and supply inventory and laundry as needed.
• Follows lost and found procedures.
• Greets guests and responds to concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Keeps room status reports up to date with front desk.
