Job summary

CaptionCall is seeking a customer-focused Installer/Trainer who visits customers in their homes to install CaptionCall phones and provide personalized training that helps individuals communicate with confidence.

This part-time role fits someone who enjoys working independently, meeting new people, and making a meaningful difference in their community. You’ll join a mission-driven team dedicated to accessibility and connection for Deaf and hard-of-hearing customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Customer-facing role in homes.
• Basic computer/tech skills.
• Experience with seniors or hearing loss preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot CaptionCall phones in customers' homes.
• Train customers on how to use their phone and key features with patience and professionalism.
• Complete service calls and equipment exchanges as assigned.
• Maintain accurate customer records and submit required documentation.
• Retrieve, clean, and manage equipment inventory.
• Assist with community outreach and lead generation activities as needed.
• Represent CaptionCall at local events and community engagements.
• Follow all company compliance, privacy, and confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism while working in customers' homes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
