Qualifications

• Associate degree or related certificate required.
• 1 year of hardware/software technical support experience.
• Strong ability to communicate with end users.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure good operating conditions.
• Communicate with users to detect possible problems.
• Assist in evaluating new equipment for the Technical Support area.
• Maintain inventory for maintenance and repair of computers.
• Keep virus protection up to date.
• Perform regular hard drive cleanup and maintenance.
• Maintain software documentation files.
• Research and test new software packages.
