Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome customers and assist on the front end of the store. You will greet guests, promote in-store programs, manage merchandise check-ins, and distribute promotional materials while upholding Bass Pro standards.

You will also help maintain a safe, clean entry area and coordinate guest check-in for special events and firearms with the outfitter, under close supervision and according to company SOPs. This is a part-time, customer-focused role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Maintain professional image and dress code as per Bass Pro Shops standards.
• Check in customers’ merchandise and visitor logs; manage badges for vendors.
• Distribute promotional materials and inform customers about events and promotions.
• Ensure entryway and surrounding area are clean and safe for customers and Outfitters.
• Coordinate firearms check-in with trained Outfitters; do not handle firearms yourself.
• All other duties as assigned.
