Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Greeter to provide an outstanding customer experience at the store entrance. You will greet customers, share information and directions, and hand out promotional materials to support events and sales.

Follow brand standards with the proper logo shirt, maintain a neat appearance, and assist with front-end tasks to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Excellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Actively promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pickup.
• Model brand standards by dressing in green Bass Pro Shops or tan Cabela’s logo shirts with badge.
• Check in all customers’ merchandise for return.
• Check in all Vendor representatives and manage visitor logs.
• Inform customers about events, sales, or promotions and provide materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe entryway and surrounding area.
• Assist with firearm guest check-in by coordinating with Outfitter; do not handle firearms.
