Job summary

Sun Outdoors in Florida is seeking an Activities Coordinator (Part Time) to plan, organize, and facilitate engaging programs for guests and residents at Sun's resorts and communities.

You will lead events, support a small team, manage calendars and budgets, coordinate with vendors, and promote a fun, safe, and welcoming atmosphere while upholding Sun's standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet use.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates, plans, coordinates, and attends activities and events.
• Sets up and cleans up after events.
• Provides leadership, training, and support to team members.
• Promotes a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Maintains event attendance, vendor usage, and expense records.
• Prepares calendars of events within budget.
• Purchases supplies to run activities and group events.
• Helps prepare weekly newsletters for residents and guests.
• Organizes fundraising activities for the department.
• Maintains inventory of office and activity supplies.
• Ensures all equipment and supplies are in good condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
