Sun Outdoors in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Activities Assistant to coordinate a variety of resort events and guest experiences. You will support planning and executing activities, engage with guests, and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include setting up spaces, promoting fun events, assisting with newsletters, and maintaining equipment, with daily tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer proficiency including email/internet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and attend activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners.
• Set up and clean event spaces before and after activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Serve as a role model for Sun standards and reputation.
• Maintain attendance tracking for each activity.
• Assist with training activities team members and volunteers.
• Distribute weekly newsletter to resort residents and guests.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
