Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering outstanding customer service. You will monitor store entrances and high‑risk areas, deter theft, and report incidents to the Manager on Duty to keep teammates and customers safe.

This role requires strong communication, confidence, and the ability to greet customers with a friendly, energetic demeanor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor the store environment.
• Confidentiality and disciplined decision making in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to deter theft and enhance safety.
• Greet customers with a warm, energetic demeanor and provide excellent service.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
