Job summary

Burlington Stores is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering outstanding customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and report theft incidents while upholding store safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the entrance and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm, loud, friendly greeting to promote a sense of control and security.
• Identify and report theft incidents and suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
