Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers to support MEPS, a national study of health care costs and usage. This part-time, annual data-collection role requires traveling for in-person training in January 2027 and periodic local or overnight travel to households.

You will work evenings and weekends as needed, transmit data daily, and complete administrative paperwork under supervision. The position includes paid vacation/holiday leave and a path to reassignment on other Westat field projects,

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based training and Teams sessions between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Must travel to mandatory in-person training Jan 19–25, 2027.
• Must complete post-training web-based and virtual training Jan 26–31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with assigned households.
• Transmit data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
• Adhere to data security and confidentiality requirements.
• Report to field supervisor and manage travel as required.
