Job summary

Westat is currently seeking motivated Field Interviewers to support the MEPS study, a national survey of health care costs and usage in the United States. Interviewers conduct in-person or video interviews, gain cooperation, and collect signed documents.

This is a part-time, yearly role with two data collection periods. Travel to training in January 2027 and occasional overnight travel may be required; candidates must have a reliable vehicle, valid license, and be available 20 hours per week

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older (or emancipated minor) with the ability to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Be available to complete mandatory web-based home study training between January 4 and January 15, 2027.
• Be available to travel for mandatory in-person training and data collection, including possible overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with adult household members and collect data.
• Coordinate appointments, transmit data daily, and ensure confidentiality.
• Follow data security requirements and complete administrative paperwork.
