Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking part-time Field Interviewers to support MEPS, a nationwide survey on health care costs funded by AHRQ. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, schedule visits, and collect data and signed documents.

Travel to training in January 2027 is mandatory, with occasional local and overnight travel. Positions run two yearly data collection periods, with breaks between rounds and variable hours, primarily evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to enter confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training and Microsoft Teams sessions between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Travel to mandatory in-person and training sessions (e.g., Jan 19–25, 2027).
• Complete post-training home study between Jan 26–31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults.
• Contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily when on assignment.
• Adhere to data security and confidentiality requirements.
