Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults, collecting health care usage data.

Travel to mandatory training in January 2027 is required, with occasional overnight travel and travel to local households. The role runs in two yearly rounds as a part-time, non-exempt position with data transmission daily.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based and in-person trainings within set dates in January 2027.
• Travel to in-person and local training as required.
• Participate in follow-up training activities after in-person training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households by phone or in-person, set appointments, and collect data.
• Transmit electronic data daily and complete administrative paperwork.
