Job summary

RTI International is seeking self-motivated individuals to work as Part-Time Field Interviewers on the NSFG project. This role involves traveling to households, screening, and conducting in-person interviews while handling confidential data using project equipment.

The NSFG is a federal government study focusing on reproductive health and related questions. Training is required, and the position offers a flexible schedule with travel and time-tracking responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English reading, writing and speaking.
• Willing to complete training and data collection period.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable car.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet and laptop.
• Access to password-protected Wi‑Fi for data transmissions.
• Able to keep project information confidential.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions.
• Able to work approximately 20 hours per week, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Travel to selected locations to recruit study participants.
• Locate dwelling units and eligible adults for screening interviews.
• Administer screening interviews and recruit respondents for main interviews if selected.
• Interact with participants and obtain participation in person.
• Collect confidential information and administer questionnaires.
• Independently manage administrative duties and trainings.
• Transmit data as scheduled and maintain equipment securely.
• Attend scheduled meetings with the project team via Zoom.
• Maintain reliable home internet access for project work.
