Job summary

RTI International is seeking self-motivated Part-Time Field Interviewers to support the NSFG study. You will travel to selected locations, screen households, and conduct in-person interviews using a project-provided tablet, with strict attention to privacy and data security.

Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, are expected, and travel time and mileage are reimbursed. Data collection is scheduled through December 2029, offering a long-term, independent field role.

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and reliable car for business use.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet and laptop for data collection.
• Access to password-protected Wi-Fi for data transmissions.
• Ability to keep project information confidential.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to ask sensitive survey questions appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Travel to selected locations to recruit study participants.
• Screen households and administer screening interview.
• Recruit respondents for longer interviews if selected.
• Conduct in-person NSFG interviews and transmit data as scheduled.
• Maintain privacy and handle project-issued equipment responsibly.
